Unless otherwise specified, only PHCA members may earn CEU credits by attending our monthly webinars – this is a “member-only” benefit. Future PHCA members may register to attend our webinars but will not receive a continuing education credit for their participation.

Seniors care changing landscape has brought many challenges to residents, their families and community staff. The demographic of senior’s in care has bee changing and so do their nutrition and meal service needs. This unique review by a seasoned Registered Dietitian with 25 years experience in long term care, will provide and opportunity to understand best practices in menu planning to operationalize day to day meal planning in senior’s care.

Objectives:

  • Provide best practice insights that will promote optimal nutrition and dining experience that is person centered, improves client satisfaction and aligns with regulatory compliance
  • Share industry best practices and experiential learnings in menu planning
  • Understand how implementing best practices in menu planning can mitigate risk, improve client satisfaction, reduce costs
