Quality Initiative

PHCA Quality Initiatives

The pace in which the influence of quality is directly and indirectly impacting the long-term care delivery model continues to accelerate. In an effort to assist our membership to enhance quality of care and position them for success, PHCA launched a Quality Initiative Plan. As part of the PHCA Quality Initiative Plan, targeted goals are selected on specific quality measures. These areas are aligned with the American Health Care Association (AHCA), National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QAPI) and federal mandates such as Five-Star and the Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation (IMPACT) Act.
