Webinar: PDPM Impact – Early Lessons, Analysis & Strategies

February 26, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

This webinar will be presented by Bill Goulding, RAC-CT, Lead Post-Acute Healthcare Consultant, Post-Acute Care Solutions (PACS) with Aegis Therapies.

While most of the SNF industry generally knew what to expect from PDPM, there was plenty of room for surprises and some have been significant! This session will review comprehensive operational and clinical data. That data will include Nursing and NTA results in addition to the three therapy disciplines. Clinical and operational trends will be discussed, as well as early strategies to mitigate negative trends where possible. There will be specific recommendations regarding aspects of SNF services and practices that must be monitored going forward in order to be successful in this new payment model.

Your webinar learning objectives include:

1.       Participants will learn strategies to mitigate coding practices that result in under-representation of medical complexity.

2.       Participants will learn strategies to mitigate under-coding for Speech-Language services.

3.       Participants will learn strategies to build better inter-disciplinary communication, leading to more accurate representation of residents on the MDS.
