Unless otherwise specified, only PHCA members may earn CEU credits by attending our monthly webinars – this is a “member-only” benefit. Future PHCA members may register to attend our webinars but will not receive a continuing education credit for their participation.

PharmScriptLogo_250PharmScript, a PHCA business partner, is hosting a webinar on August 30, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, titled “Utilizing QAPI to Develop a Pressure Ulcer Program.” The webinar is being presented by Louann Lawson, Nurse Consultant/ Clinical Reimbursement Team Lead for Pathway Health, Inc..

Objectives:

  1. Define the requirements of F314 and current standards of practice for pressure ulcer prevention.
  2. Identify the systems needed for an effective wound care program.
  3. Describe the functions of a wound team.
  4. Describe effective wound care team meetings.
  5. Discuss the use of QAPI to analyze and improve the facility wound care program.

The webinar has been approved by NAB for 1 CEU credit for:

  • Nursing Home Administrators
  • Nurses
