Change is a constant in health care: PDPM and requirements of participation to name a few. There is a constant challenge to adapt to be successful in today’s environment. However, most change efforts fail because they don’t anticipate the resistance that occurs naturally when people are asked to do something differently. This webinar will introduce change management concepts and demonstrate practices that will increase the chances that your staff will not only adapt but thrive.
Webinar learning objectives include:
1. Relate the stages of change demonstrated by staff to previous change projects.
2. Examine observed resistance (active and passive) that may have occurred and postulate alternative messaging to help shift the mindset to exploration and adoption.
3. Identify key practices and personnel that can be change agents in your facility.
