Unless otherwise specified, only PHCA members may earn CEU credits by attending our monthly webinars – this is a “member-only” benefit. Future PHCA members may register to attend our webinars but will not receive a continuing education credit for their participation.

Webinar: Emergency Preparedness and Life Safety Code Update

The webinar will provide attendees an update on the Life Safety Code requirements used for state licensure and federal certification, along with an overview of CMS Emergency Preparedness rules. Common deficiencies related to Emergency Preparedness and Life Safety will also be discussed and how to avoid these deficiencies and ensure compliance.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Overview of CMS Emergency Preparedness requirements for long-term care facilities,
  2. Review of common Emergency Preparedness deficiencies, and
  3. Review of common Life Safety Code deficiencies.
