C-1: Health Care Emergency Preparedness and the Role of Health Care Coalitions
Health care organizations are still in the early stages of developing emergency plans informed by the hazards that may be encountered in their community (an “all-hazards approach”). While requirements may seem confusing at times, organizations can and should strive for the best possible preparedness level. Health care coalitions are existing, voluntary organizations throughout the Commonwealth whose membership leverage each other’s experience and strengths to achieve improved preparedness.
